The sultry tunes of a live pianist will warm the cockles of your heart at this top notch establishment where two courses are going for R325 including tea and coffee. Alternatively, you can cuddle up around the fireplace with the seasonal brandy and tapas menu on offer all the way through until the end of September.
Pepenero, Mouille Point
This Italian-style eatery is the next best thing to heading north for the winter, with the added bonus of views of the Atlantic. Snuggle up in a private booth or hit the deck on a warm winters afternoon while you chow down on soup, line fish, chicken saltimbocca and veal, with panacotta ice cream, zabaglione and meringue to sweeten things up afterward.
